Great episode guys! I really enjoyed the car talk. Especially since you mentioned my first car, which was actually an '87 Toyota Tercel. It was the one St. Jimmy used to borrow to see Mrs. Jimmy at college. Our sister gifted it to me for my 15th birthday. I remember well how it wouldn't stay in 5th gear and that the trunk leaked, so I put my subwoofer in the backseat. One of my favorite memories of it was D Viddy riding with me to get it home (since I only had a learners permit), but the windows had been shot out of it at our sister's house, so we had the heater on full blast to keep warm on the 45 minute drive on the freeway through below freezing temperatures in November. That car sat at mom and dad's after I went to college for 2 years, and I would just jump start it when I flew home for Christmas break, and it ran great. Ended up selling it for $100 in 2008 and as of 2012 or '13 it was still out there on the road in Boise.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to join you guys for another show in a few weeks after rugby season ends!
DOH! I just spent 15 minutes looking up the origin of "and per se and". Darn you St. Jimmy.
